The Energy Star program is backed by the EPA. Our objective is to beat the EPA's energy model. The homes are given an energy audit by a third party who projects out the annual utility costs for each home to determine what star rating to give the home. The star ratings go from 1 star to 5 stars. Most homes built by Gentry Construction have gotten 4+ to 5+ stars.

Energy star qualified homes are independently verified to meet the EPA's strict guidelines for energy efficiency. Energy star qualified homes earn the energy star label, indicating to consumers that these energy efficient homes are more comfortable, more durable, cost less to own, and are better for the environment.
